KIAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week Paul Carr (Point Park)
FLORENCE, Ky. – For the second week in a row, Point Park University's Paul Carr is the KIAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for Oct. 12-18.
Carr, a junior from Sheffield, England, played center back in a shutout win over Brescia and also got into the scoring act with two goals. The Pioneers beat Brescia, 10-0. After an own goal opened the scoring, Carr twice scored on a header off of a corner kick for goals two and three for Point Park.
Carr is tied for the team lead with six goals, and he also had one assist for 13 points. The Pioneers return to action Saturday, Oct. 24 at No. 11 Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) at 7 p.m.
