KIAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week Alexandra Klein (WVU Tech)
FLORENCE, Ky. – Alexandra Klein of WVU Tech is the KIAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week Oct. 12-18 after totaling six points in three games last week.
The junior forward from Welland, Ontario, scored both goals in a 2-0 win over Washington Adventist. She also scored a goal in a 7-0 win over Brescia (Ky.). The Golden Bears completed a 3-0 week with a 2-0, KIAC win over Cincinnati Christian.
For the year, Klein has four goals, two assists and 10 points to rank fourth on the team in scoring. WVU Tech is 11-3 overall and currently second place in the conference at 4-1 KIAC. The Golden Bears return to action Oct. 24 at No. 24 Georgetown (Ky.).
