KIAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week Ryan Metcalf (Asbury)
FLORENCE, Ky. – Asbury (Ky.) University's Ryan Metcalf registered a hat trick last week versus Ohio Christian and has been named the KIAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for Oct. 19-25.
Metcalf, sophomore midfielder from Simponsville, Ky., recorded his second hat trick of the year in the 4-1 win over OCU. That increased his goal total on the year to 10, which ranks fourth in the KIAC and leads the Asbury team.
Metcalf has 10 of the 19 goals scored on the year by Asbury. The Eagles are 5-9-2 overall and 3-2 KIAC for third place. They return to action Tuesday at Point Park (2 p.m.)
