KIAC Volleyball Setter of the Week Cortney Hanson (IU Kokomo)
FLORENCE, Ky. – IU Kokomo setter Cortney Hanson led the Cougars to a 3-0 week and has been named KIAC Volleyball Setter of the Week for Oct. 19-25.
A senior from Logansport, Ind., Hanson has won the KIAC, weekly honor for a second time this year. Hanson averaged 5.67 assists and 3.75 digs per set while running a 6-2 offense. She also tallied seven aces on the week.
Hanson had 25 assists and 19 digs in a win over Taylor. She also had 24 assists and 17 digs versus Rio Grande. Finally, she had 19 assists and nine digs in a win over Carlow.
Hanson ranks seventh in the KIAC in assists per set with 5.8 and sixth with 572 total assists.
