KIAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week Hunter Moles (WVU Tech)

FLORENCE, Ky. – Goalkeeper Hunter Moles of WVU Tech played a key role in two KIAC wins for the Golden Bears and was named the KIAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for Sept. 28-Oct. 4.

Moles, a 6-4 junior from South Charleston, W.Va., came up big with six saves in a 2-0 victory at Point Park. It was the first-ever KIAC game for new KIAC member WVU Tech. He backed that up with a scoreless first half in a 6-1 win at OCU as the Golden Bears led, 4-0, at halftime.

Moles has played in six games on the year and has given up just two goals for a goals-against average of .400. He has made 21 saves. WVU Tech is undefeated at 9-0 overall and 2-0 KIAC for first place in the conference. The Golden Bears are receiving votes in the NAIA Top 25 and are the No. 1-ranked team in the USCAA.
