KIAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week Brian Moore (Point Park)
FLORENCE, Ky. – For the fourth time in five weeks, Point Park University's Brian Moore is the KIAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for events Sept. 28-Oct. 4.
A freshman from Howell, Mich., Moore was the top men's performer from the KIAC at the Greater Louisville Classic this past weekend. Moore's time of 26:10 in the 8K put him in ninth place of 348 runners. It was the top time by any freshman in the meet.
Moore's performance helped Point Park to fifth place out of 41 teams in the team standings. The Pioneers led all KIAC teams in attendance and placed five runners under 28 minutes. Point Park is back in action Oct. 10 at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational in Pittsburgh.
