Prior to the Golden Bears' goal, Asbury's Maddye Hahn had the goalkeeper beat on a corner but a defender posted on the goal line kept the game scoreless yet again.
WVU Tech goalkeeper Martha Reyna had to make two big saves on the Eagles to keep the game scoreless and collect the shutout. In all WVU Tech fired off 12 shots, most from outside the box and sailing high and wide while the Eagles posted six shots on goal.
WVU Tech will next face Ohio Christian University for another KIAC match-up Saturday in Circleville, Ohio. Asbury's next game is Oct. 15 versus Midway (Ky.)
