KIAC WBB Player of the Week: Baylee Buleca (Point Park)

FLORENCE, Ky. -- Highlighted by a triple-double in a conference road victory, Baylee Buleca of Point Park University has earned KIAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors for games played Nov. 16-22.

Buleca, a 6-0, sophomore center from Murrysville, Pa., had a triple double of 14 points, 17 rebounds and 10 blocks in a 21-point win of 67-46 at WVU Tech on Nov. 18. That highlighted her week, which had the Pioneers win three of four games and post two conference victories.

For the week, Buleca averaged 11.8 ppg, 10.0 rpg and 4.0 bpg while shooting 63 percent from the floor (20 of 32) and 88 percent from the foul line. she also had a double-double of 12 points and 12 rebounds in another KIAC victory over Brescia (Ky.).

For the year, she is averaging 14.0 ppg, 7.9 rpg and 2.7 bpg while shooting 67 percent from the field. She leads the Pioneers in all of those categories, and Point Park is 7-2, 2-1 KIAC. The Pioneers return to action Dec. 2 at Alderson Broaddus (W.Va.).
