KIAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week Dominic Canello (Point Park)
FLORENCE, Ky. – Point Park University's Dominic Canello is the KIAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for Oct. 26-Nov. 1, the second time this year he has earned the honored.
The senior midfielder from Pittsburgh, Pa., who leads the KIAC in assists, had one goal, two assists and four points last week as Point Park went 2-0 in KIAC games.
Canello had a goal and an assist in a 2-1 win at Ohio Christian, and he also assisted on a goal in a 2-1 (2OT) win over Asbury. He now leads the KIAC and is 17th in the NAIA with 10 assists, and he has three goals and 16 points.
Canello and Point Park (9-6-1, 4-2 KIAC) will host Cincinnati Christian in the KIAC Tournament quarterfinals on Saturday, Nov. 7 in Pittsburgh, Pa. Follow KIAC Men's Soccer at KIACSports.com and on Twitter @KIACSports.
