FLORENCE, Ky. - - Indiana University East's Huston Clark had a big performance in the KIAC Basketball Game of the Week and thus has been named the KIAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Dec. 7-13.

A 6-6, senior guard from Kokomo, Ind., Clark put up 26 points, nine rebounds and four assists for No. 25 IU East in an 88-79 win over No. 19 WVU Tech on Dec. 8. The NAIA Division II Top 25 matchup was the KIAC Basketball Game of the Week.

Clark led the Red Wolves in scoring and rebounding for that game and also added two blocks and two steals. He made 10 of 19 field goals for 52 percent. From the foul line, he made 6 of 7 shots.

For the season, Clark is averaging 14.7 points and 7.5 rebounds per game and shooting 54 percent from the floor. He is tied for 13th in the KIAC in scoring and is ninth in rebounding.

IU East has won five in a row and is 8-4 overall and 2-0 KIAC to lead the KIAC Colonial Division. The Red Wolves return to action Tuesday, Dec. 15 at St. Xavier (Ill.).
