Jake Simpson, Indiana University Southeast -- Men's Basketball Player of the Week

Indiana University Southeast senior Jake Simpson was named the KIAC men's basketball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, February 9^th. This is his third player of the week award of the season.

Indiana University Southeast won their only game last week, defeating the University of Rio Grande 90-85. Simpson recorded 32 points while shooting 52.6 percent (10-of-19) from the field. He also tallied 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals. The senior guard made 10-of-11 from the free throw line. Simpson leads the KIAC and ranks 3^rd in NAIA Division II points per game (24.71).

The Grenadiers are currently 7-14 overall and 4-6 in conference play. They will return to action on February 10^th when they host Brescia University.
