Indiana University Southeast senior Shane Weedman was named the KIAC baseball pitcher of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, March 16th.
Weedman earned a pair of wins in two outings last week as the Grenadiers finished the week 6-2. The senior pitcher earned the win in a 6-3 victory against Christian College. He pitched 2 innings and struck out 4 Trinity batters. He also earned the win in a 7-4 victory against Marygrove College. Weedman struck out 4 Marygrove batters in 2.1 innings.
Indiana University Southeast is 10-4 overall. They will return to action on March 17th when they travel to Lindsey Wilson College.
