KIAC Men's Basketball All-Conference and Individual Awards

The KIAC coaches selected Brescia University junior Austin Morris as the KIAC Player of the Year and Brescia University head coach Josh Gibson as the KIAC Coach of the Year, conference officials announced Thursday, February 28th. Point Park junior Jerah'me Williams was named newcomer of the year and Indiana University East junior Huston Clark was named comeback player of the year.
Morris led Brescia to an 18-9 overall record and 10-3 conference record. Morris was 6th in the conference in points per game (16.07), 1st in rebounds per game (10.15), 1st in blocks per game (3.44), 1st in field goal percentage (60.1), 4th in free throw percentage (80.3) and was second in the conference with 13 double-doubles. He also ranked 1st in NAIA Division II blocks per game (3.44), 6th in rebounds per game (10.15) and 11th in field goal percentage (60.1)
Brescia University head coach Josh Gibson led the Bearcats to an 18-9 overall record and 10-3 conference record. The Bearcats entered the KIAC Tournament as the No. 1 seed from the South division and finished 2nd overall in the regular season. They received 5 points in the latest NAIA Division II Men's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll placing them in the No. 34 position nationally.
Point Park University junior Jerah'me Williams was named the KIAC Newcomer of the Year after transferring to Point Park for the 2014-15 season. Williams was named to the all-conference team. He ranked 2nd in the conference in points per game (19.11), 1st in assists per game (6.78), 3rd in 3-point field goal percentage (44.1) and 5th in steals per game (1.7). He ranked 5th in NAIA Division II assists per game (6.78). Point Park finished the regular season 14-12 overall and 6-7 in conference play.
Indiana University East junior Huston Clark was named the KIAC Comeback Player of the Year. Clark underwent reconstructive surgery on his right ankle during the summer of 2013 and missed the entire 2013-14 season. This season he ranked 16th in the conference in points per game (13.32) and 3rd in rebounds per game (8.94). IU East finished first in the KIAC regular season and is ranked No. 19 in the latest NAIA Division II Men's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll.
