Demetrius Moorer, Point Park University – Baseball Player of the Week

Point Park University junior Demetrius Moorer was named the KIAC baseball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, March 23^rd. This is his second player of the week award of the season.

Moorer finished the week hitting .474 (9-for-19) as the Pioneers ended the week with a 5-0 record. The junior center fielder tallied 3 doubles, 1 triple, 1 homerun, 5 runs batted in, 3 stolen bases and 7 runs scored last week. He had at least one hit in all 5 games including a 4-for-4 game against Asbury. Moorer ranks 6^th in the KIAC with a .380 batting average, 2^nd in slugging percentage (.700), 2^nd in stolen bases (10) and 1^st in triples (5).

No. 24 Point Park University is 15-4 overall and 4-0 in conference play. They will return to action on March 24^th when they travel to West Virginia Institute of Technology for a doubleheader.
