Brescia University senior Gustavo Carvalho was named the KIAC men's tennis player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, March 23rd.
Brescia University finished 1-1 last week, defeating Bethel University 8-1 and falling to No. 20 Campbellsville University 8-1. Carvalho won his #3 singles match against Campbellsville 1-6, 6-2, 1-0(8). He also won his #3 singles match against Bethel 6-2, 6-1 and his #1 doubles match against Bethel 8-4. The Bearcats are currently 3-5 overall. They will return to action on March 27th when they travel to Indiana University Southeast.
