Indiana University Southeast sophomore Jessica Leanhart was named the KIAC softball pitcher of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, March 23rd.
Leanhart earned the win in all 5 games last week as the Grenadiers finished the week 5-0. She finished the week 5-0 with an earned run average of 0.93 in 30 innings pitched. She struck out 46 total batters including double digit strike outs in three games while only walking 6 batters last week.
Indiana University Southeast is 9-1 overall and 6-0 in conference play. They will return to action on March 25th when they host Spalding University for a doubleheader.
