Indiana University Southeast freshman Jacob Rankin was named the KIAC men's tennis player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, March 30th.
Indiana University Southeast finished the week 1-2. They defeated Brescia University 5-4, lost to the University of Mobile 7-2 and fell to Marian University 5-4. Rankin finished 2-1 in #5 singles and 3-0 in #1 doubles last week. He won his doubles match against Mobile 8-2. The IU Southeast freshman won his singles match 6-7(4), 6-4, 6-4 and doubles match 8-6 against Brescia. He won his singles match 6-3, 6-2 and doubles match 9-7 against Marian. The Grenadiers are currently 5-7 overall and 1-0 in conference play. They will return to action on April 1st when they host Southern Indiana.
