Kim Rollins, University of Rio Grande – Softball Player of the Week

University of Rio Grande junior Kim Rollins was named the KIAC softball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, March 30th.
Rollins finished the week with a .476 batting average (10-for-21) as the RedStorm finished the week with a 6-0 record. The junior catcher recorded 3 homeruns, 1 double, 11 runs batted in and 9 runs scored. She had at least one hit and one RBI in each game that she had a plate appearance. Rollins also had 4 multi-hit games including a 3-for-4 game against Alice Lloyd. She has a .318 batting average (14-for-44) batting average this season.
The University of Rio Grande is 11-6 overall and 5-1 in conference play. They will return to action on March 31st when they host Asbury University for a doubleheader.
