Kim Rollins, University of Rio Grande – Softball Player of the Week

5-2 Junior – Cincinnati, OH

University of Rio Grande junior Kim Rollins was named the KIAC softball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, April 13^th. This is her second player of the week award of the season.

Rollins finished the week with a .560 batting average (14-for-25) as the RedStorm finished the week 6-2. The junior catcher recorded four doubles, one homerun, nine runs batted in and scored nine runs. She had four multi-hit games and improved her average to .400 for the season. She is 2^nd in the KIAC with six homeruns and 3^rd with 31 runs batted in.

The University of Rio Grande is currently 22-9 overall and 14-2 in conference play. They will return to action on April 14^th when they host Carlow University for a doubleheader.
