BEREA, Ky. – The Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (KIAC) has named Kevin Taylor as the league's next Sports Information Director and Webmaster. He will begin his duties with the conference on July 1.

Taylor currently serves and will continue in his position as the Assistant Athletic Director/Director of Athletic Communications for KIAC member institution Point Park University. He is also a member of College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and NAIA-SIDA which is comprised of Sports Information Directors from NAIA institutions. He is also a national ballot voter for Capital One ® Academic All-America College Division for all sports.

"Kevin brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the conference SID/Webmaster position," said KIAC commissioner Bill Melton. "He will be replacing Jeremy Steele who has done a wonderful job for the KIAC over the last seven years. I am thankful to have had Jeremy in this position during my time as commissioner. However, we are fortunate to have a person of Kevin's background to assume Jeremy's duties. I anticipate a very smooth transition."

Taylor has been at Point Park University since July 2008. He received his Bachelor's degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2006 and his Master's Degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2007. Kevin is married to his wife, Meagan. The couple has one daughter.
