KIAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week Jordyn Bowman (IU East)
FLORENCE, Ky. – Jordyn Bowman of IU East was selected as the KIAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week for her play Sept. 7-13, the conference announced at KIACsports.com.
A junior from New Castle, Ind., Bowman led the Red Wolves in a KIAC match versus Carlow. She posted a 2-1 victory in No. 4 singles by scores of 7-5, 4-6, 6-1. She was also a part of an 8-4 victory at No. 2 doubles.
IU East lost that match but is still 2-1 overall. The Red Wolves, who have victories of 9-0 over Miami-Middletown and 6-1 over Miami-Hamilton, return to the court Tuesday at Cedarville for a 4 p.m. match.
