KIAC Volleyball Setter of the Week -- Kayla Briley (Rio Grande)

FLORENCE, Ky. – Kayla Briley of the University of Rio Grande was picked as the KIAC Volleyball Setter of the Week for her performance from Sept. 7-13, the conference announced at KIACsports.com.

A 6-0 junior from Marion, Ohio, Briley had a big showing in the only match of the week for Rio Grande (5-2), a KIAC victory over WVU Tech in three sets.

The RedStorm's setter totaled 32 assists for an average of 10.67 per set. She also came up with six kills (2.00 per set) and nine digs (3.00 per set). Briley contributed two service aces and one block and had a .556 attack percentage.

On the year, Briley has amassed 218 assists for an average of 9.08 per set. The RedStorm is back in action on Tuesday at Brescia (Ky.) for a 7 p.m. match.
