FLORENCE, Ky. – Point Park University libero Paige Baker led the defense in a 4-0 week for the Pioneers and was named the KIAC Volleyball Defender of the Week, the conference announced on Monday (Sept. 21).

Baker, a senior from Kittanning, Pa., recorded 60 digs in four matches and 14 sets on the week. She averaged 4.29 digs per set. Baker had a high of 31 digs in a big win at IU Southeast and also posted double-digit digs at Cincinnati Christian (12) and Brescia (11).

On the serve, she had two aces and just one error in 56 attempts for a serve percentage of .982. Baker made just five passing errors in 109 attempts for a reception percentage of .954.
