KIAC Volleyball Setter of the Week Kayla Briley (Rio Grande)
FLORENCE, Ky. – Kayla Briley had a big week setting up the University of Rio Grande offense and was named the KIAC Volleyball Setter of the Week, the conference announced on Monday (Sept. 21).
A 6-0 senior from Marion, Ohio, Briley averaged 10.73 assists and 2.91 digs per set to take home her second KIAC Setter of the Week honor this year. She had 118 assists on the week as the RedStorm improved to 8-3 overall.
The highlight of Briley's week was 42 assists, 21 digs and eight kills in a KIAC win at Ohio Christian. She also had 49 assists at Brescia and 27 assists versus Glenville State.
