KIAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week Emily Hubbuch (Asbury)
FLORENCE, Ky. – Emily Hubbuch was named the KIAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week Sept. 21-27 for her role in Asbury (Ky.) University's 1-1 tie at Georgetown (Ky.), the conference announced on Monday (Sept. 28).
Hubbuch, a freshman forward from Sheperdsville, Ky., scored the opening goal to give the Eagles a 1-0 lead. Georgetown ended up getting the tying goal to put its record at 7-1-1 overall.
Hubbuch has two goals and five points on the year for Asbury, which is 5-2-1 overall. The Eagles play at home versus Marian (Ind.) on Saturday at 1 p.m. for their next game.
