KIAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week Dana Frank (IU Southeast)
FLORENCE, Ky. – Dana Frank of IU Southeast earned her second KIAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week award this season for her play Sept. 21-27, the conference announced on Monday (Sept. 28).
Frank is a sophomore from Floyds Knob, Ind., who went 4-0 playing No. 1 sings and No. 1 and 2 doubles last week. She recorded victories at No. 1 singles of 6-3, 6-0 over IU East and 6-0, 6-1 over Brescia.
She also earned wins of 8-0 at No. 2 doubles over IU East and 8-5 in No. 1 doubles over Brescia. IU Southeast won both matches by a score of 9-0 to improve to 6-2 on the year. Frank is 7-1 in singles and 7-1 in doubles.
