KIAC Volleyball Setter of the Week Abbey Ketchem (IU East)
FLORENCE, Ky. – IU East's Abbey Ketchem was named the KIAC Volleyball Setter of the Week for her performance Sept. 21-27, the conference announced on Monday (Sept. 28).
A 5-10 freshman from Indianapolis, Ind., Ketchem led the Red Wolves to a 3-0 week. Ketchem averaged 12.11 assists per set as IU East swept three matches on the week.
She had 45 assists and eight digs in a win over Anderson. Ketchem also had 33 assists and five digs in a victory over Governors State and 31 assists and four digs in a win over Purdue Calumet.
Ketchem has 471 total assists on the year for an average of 6.36 per set. She is third on the team with 160 digs. The Red Wolves are 11-9 overall, 2-1 KIAC and return to action Tuesday at home versus Ohio Christian at 7 p.m.
