Carlow's Wallace gets RSC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week award

FLORENCE, Ky. -- Carlow (Pa.) University's Kristina Wallace led the Celtics to an unbeaten week in RSC play to claim River States Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for Oct. 3-9.

Wallace, a sophomore from Jeannatte, Pa., totaled a goal, three assists and five points as Carlow moved into a tie for first place in the conference.

Wallace picked up two assists and also scored the game-winning goal just before the half of a 4-0 win at Brescia (Ky.). She also assisted on a goal that made the score 2-0 in the 13th minute of a 4-1 win at Midway (Ky.).

She leads Carlow with seven goals, five assists and 19 points on the year. The Celtics are 4-5-2 overall, 3-1 RSC, and they host Ohio Christian on Oct. 13 for their next game.
