IU Southeast's Keene wins RSC Volleyball Defender of the Week for third time

FLORENCE, Ky. -- IU Southeast libero Natalie Keene has been named the River States Conference Volleyball Defender of the Week for the third week in a row, this time from Oct. 3-9.

Keene is a 5-1 freshman from Louisville, Ky. She collected 86 digs in four matches last week as IU Southeast went 4-0 to bump its record to 15-6 overall and 8-0 RSC to lead the conference.

Keene averaged 6.14 digs per set in the four matches, including a week-high 32 in a win over Brescia, 21 in a win over Ohio Christian and 20 in just three sets in a 3-0 win over IU East in the RSC Game of the Week.

She now has 356 digs to rank third in the conference, and she is averaging 4.8 digs per set. The Grenadiers play host to Midway (Ky.) for their next match Oct. 11 at 7 p.m.
