CCU's Tukala wins RSC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
FLORENCE, Ky. -- Cincinnati Christian University's Jonathon Tukala scored four goals in two games last week to win River States Conferece Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for Oct. 10-16.
Tukala, from London, England, scored three goals in a 7-1 win over Cincinnati-Clermont and also scored a goal in a 2-1 loss at Brescia (Ky.) in RSC play.
He leads the conference in goals with 16 and is tied for the lead in points with 34. A junior, Tukala ranks fifth in the NAIA in goals per game (1.33) and ninth in the NAIA in points per game (2.83), both of which lead the RSC.
Cincinnati Christian is 9-3-1 overall, 2-3 RSC and visits Kentucky Christian for its next game Oct. 18.
