IU Southeast's Barker claims RSC Volleyball Setter of the Week once again
FLORENCE, Ky. -- For the fourth time this year, IU Southeast senior Hannah Barker has claimed River States Conference Volleyball Setter of the Week, this time for Oct. 10-16.
Barker, from Seymour, Ind., piled up 174 total assists in five matches as IU Southeast went 4-1 on the week. She averaged 9.67 assists per set and also picked up 42 total digs for an average of 2.33 per set.
Barker had two matches with 50 assists on the week. The first was a 3-2 win over Goshen (Ind.), and the second was a 3-1 win over Shawnee State , which also included 13 digs and eight kills.
Barker's week also featured 25 assists and 12 digs versus Midway, a 3-0 win that made the Grenadiers 9-0 RSC for first place in the RSC West Division. IU Southeast is 19-7 overall and plays its next match Oct. 18 at home versus Asbury (Ky.).
Barker ranks second in the RSC with 901 total assists, a figure that ranks 20th in the NAIA.
