RSC Women's Soccer Tournament Qualifiers & Seeds announced, playoffs begin Nov. 5

FLORENCE, Ky. -- The River States Conference Women's Soccer Tournament qualifiers and seeds have been announced by the conference office after the completion of the regular season this past weekend.

The six-team, single-elimination tournament will begin Nov. 5 with the quarterfinal round and continue with the semifinals Nov. 9 and the finals Nov. 12. The higher seed will host each individual game, and the tournament champion will earn the RSC's automatic bid to the NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship Opening Round Nov. 19.

Ohio Christian University is the No. 1 seed and the RSC regular-season champion. The Trailblazers (10-5-2, 7-0-1 RSC) were unbeaten in conference play and will have home-field advantage throughout the tournament. OCU has a bye in the quarterfinals and will host a semifinal game Nov. 9.

Point Park (Pa.) University is the No. 2 seed and will also receive a bye in the quarterfinals. The Pioneers (8-7-2, 6-2 RSC) will host a semifinal game Nov. 9 and are the defending conference tournament champions.

The tournament begins with the quarterfinals Nov. 5 when No. 3 seed Asbury (Ky.) University (10-5-2, 5-2-1 RSC) hosts No. 6 WVU Tech (7-7-3, 2-3-3 RSC) and No. 4 seed Carlow (Pa.) University (5-8-2, 4-4 RSC) hosts No. 5 Cincinnati Christian (9-7-1, 4-4 RSC). Carlow earned the No. 4 seed over CCU due to the tiebreaker of head-to-head victory.

Follow the River States Conference Women's Soccer Tournament will live streaming video on the RSC Game Central presented by Stretch Internet. All games will be streamed through the conference portal at a Pay-Per-View subscription. Broadcast schedule TBA.
