IU Southeast's Barker wins RSC Volleyball Setter of the Week once again
FLORENCE, Ky. -- IU Southeast's Hannah Barker is the River States Conference Volleyball Setter of the Week for Sept. 26-Oct. 2, the third time this season and the second week in a row for the honor.
Barker, from Seymour, Ind., recorded 153 assists in four IU Southeast victories last week. That amounted to 12.75 assists per set. It came in conference wins over Cincinnati Christian, Rio Grande and WVU Tech and a non-conference victory over Spalding.
Barker also contributed 1.75 digs and 1.42 kills per set. The assist numbers were highlighted with 50 in the win over Rio Grande and 43 in the win over Cincinnati Chrsitian. Her attack percentage for the week was .543.
Barker ranks second in the RSC with 9.8 assists per set and third with 618 total assists. IU Southeast is 12-6, 5-0 RSC after Monday's win over Midway (Ky.) The Grenadiers visit Brescia (Ky.) Oct. 4.
