IU Southeast's Keene repeats as RSC Volleyball Defender of the Week
FLORENCE, Ky. -- IU Southeast libero Natalie Keene has repeated as River States Conference Volleyball Defender of the Week for her play Sept. 26-Oct. 2.
From Louisville, Ky., the 5-1 freshman amassed 77 digs in IU Southeast's four wins during that time period. The Grenadiers were 3-0 RSC last week with wins at Cincinnati Christian and over Rio Grande and at WVU Tech.
Keene put up 22 digs in the win over CCU and another 21 versus WVU Tech. The win over Rio Grande included 19 digs. She also picked up a couple of aces on the week. Keene served at a .935 rate and posted a serve-receive percentage of .990.
For the year, Keene has 283 digs to rank sixth in the conference. IU Southeast is now 12-6 overall, 5-0 RSC after Monday night's win over Midway (Ky.). The Grenadiers play at Brescia (Ky.) Oct. 4.
