WILMORE, ky. -- Tennis teams from around the conference are descending upon Wilmore, Ky., this weekend for the River States Conference Men's & Women's Tennis Individual Tournament being hosted by Asbury (Ky.) University.
The event is new this year and offers RSC schools to compete on the conference level prior to the RSC Men's & Women's Tennis Championships in the spring.
There will be 10 separate draws with five each for men and women. The draws are named for the five states that encompas the River States Conference -- Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Click the link above for the complete draw.
Play begins Friday with doubles action at 9 a.m. with the women's doubles draw up first.
Match format will be an eight-game proset for doubles with the 12-point tiebreaker at 8-8. Singles play will be best 2-out-of-3 sets with a super tiebreak for the third set.
