IU Kokomo continues NAIA Volleyball Pool Play with loss to IWU in Match 2
SIOUX CITY, Iowa -- In match two of pool play at the 2016 NAIA Volleyball National Championship, Indiana University Kokomo faced off against rival and 16th-ranked Indiana Wesleyan University. While the Cougars fell 3-0, the team block kept the Cougars in each set.

Highlights
- Registering in the double-digits once again, Lindi Thomas posted 10 kills and led the Cougars with a pair of service aces.
- Thomas also had two assists, nine digs and three block assists.
- Nicole Sandman contributed on both offense and defense, finishing second on the team with six kills and tying for the lead in block assists with three.
- Setter Casey Colgate put up 14 assists and nine digs.
- Kaleigh Ensley registered 20 digs.
- Both Alexis Brickner and Keeana Walton earned a trio of block assists as well
"We faced another tough challenge today but did not step away from it. We have learned a lot from this experience about about our team and program. We have had a great year and these losses out here do not take away from what this team and program have accomplished. I am proud of what our team has done!"
