SERIES HISTORY
This is the second NAIA meeting between IU East and Huntington. The Foresters beat the Red Wolves, 71-54, during the Taylor University New Year's holiday tournament last December. A 24-9 lead for Huntington after one quarter made the difference. Tia King had 17 points for the Red Wolves. Sarah Cook added 12 points.
IU EAST STORYLINES
- IU East is coming off an 83-73 win against the University of St. Francis (Ind.) on Dec. 27. The Red Wolves finished the game on a 13-2 run in the last two minutes. Kristen Miller and Tia King scored 16 points each for IU East. Bailey Dreiman (10 rebounds) reached double digits in rebounds for the fourth time in five games. Suzy Wollenhaupt tied the school record for blocks shots in a game with four.
- Kristen Miller is 13 points away from becoming the second member of IU East's NAIA women's basketball 1,000-points club.
- IU East is 21st in the current NAIA Division II Women's Basketball Coaches' Poll. IU East seeks its third win this season against a Top 25 opponent.
- The Red Wolves are 7-0 this season on their new home court.
- This is the last non-conference game of the regular season for IU East.
- IU East is one of four teams in the top 14 in the country in all three of the team shooting percentage categories -- field-goal percentage, free-throw percentage and 3-point field goal percentage.
