NOTABLE QUOTABLE
"I was thinking 'Pressure!' (on the two free throws that resulted in career points 999 and 1,000). I can't thank my teammates enough. They put me in this position. These points, it all comes from them, and I thank them for the opportunity to join Tia in the 1,000 points club.
"This was a huge win for us. They are ranked Number 25 in the nation for a reason. We came out strong to begin with. The third quarter was a little slow, but we picked it up and did everything we had to do to get this win. It was a great game for the entire team." - Kristen Miller
"I'm really proud of Kristen for reaching this milestone. It means a lot since we came from the same high school (Ottawa-Glandorf High School). For her to become someone who will forever be in our record books is humbling and exciting to see.
"I am also proud of Kristen's commitment to defense tonight. She wasn't thinking about the points. She was thinking about being our defensive stopper, and she did a great job, which was key to our win" - IU East coach Tiffani Selhorst
