KIAC MBB Player of the Week: Cody Stumbo (Alice Lloyd)

FLORENCE, Ky. -- Cody Stumbo averaged 20.0 points per game in three victories for Alice Lloyd (Ky.) College last week and was named the KIAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for Feb. 8-14 as a result.

The 6-3, senior guard from Bowling Green, Ky., led the Eagles (15-10, 10-4 KIAC) to conference wins over Cincinnati Christian and Rio Grande and a non-conference win over Wilberforce. The big week lifted Alice Lloyd to first place in the KIAC Capital Division.

Stumbo's stats for the week were 20.0 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 50 percent field goals and 83 percent free throws. He started out with a big game of 28 points, seven rebounds and 4 of 7 from 3-point range in a KIAC Game of the Week win over CCU.

He also scored 16 points apiece versus Rio Grande and Wilberforce. He made 20 of 40 field goals and 15 of 18 free throws on the week.
