KIAC Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week: Desmond Marrow (Point Park)
FLORENCE, Ky. -- Point Park University freshman Desmond Marrow was a part of three finishes in the top three at the Baldwin Wallace Mid-February Meet Feb. 12 and was named the KIAC Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for Feb. 8-14.
The Coatsville, Pa., native placed third in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:00.89. He the ran legs of two relays that also placed in the top three.
His 4x200 relay team placed second with a time of 1:38.77, and his 4x400 relay team placed third with a time of 3:29.33. The Pioneers finish the indoor regular season Feb. 20 at the Kent State Tune-up.
