KIAC Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week: Clint Swanson (IU East)
FLORENCE, Ky. -- Indiana University East's Clint Swanson is the KIAC Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for Feb. 15-21. He earned the award for his performance Feb. 20 at the DePauw University Classic.
Swanson, a junior from Vevay, Ind., finished second of 13 runners in the 400 meters with a time of 52.20 seconds.
He was also a part of two relay teams.Swanson ran the anchor leg of the school-record setting 4x400 relay team that placed third at 3:32.86. He was also a part of the 4x200 relay team that was second at 1;37.43.
The Red Wolves have concluded their indoor track season and will look ahead to outdoor competition this spring.
