KIAC Softball Player of the Week: Brookelyn Visker (IU Southeast)
FLORENCE, Ky. -- IU Southeast senior first baseman Brookelyn Visker hit .429 in five games last week to claim the KIAC Softball Player of the Week award for March 7-13.
Visker, from Indianapolis, Ind., was 6 for 14 on the week and had at least one hit in all five games. She picked up six RBIs and scored seven runs. Four of her six hits on the week were doubles, which resulted in a slugging percentage of .714 for the week.
For the season, Visker is hitting .409 with two home runs and 14 RBIs. IU Southeast (6-9, 0-0 KIAC) returns to action March 15 vs. St. Mary of the Woods.
