KIAC Men's Golfer of the Week: Franklin Crist (IU East)
FLORENCE, Ky. -- IU East senior Franklin Crist led the Red Wolves in scoring average for the first week of the spring season to earn KIAC Men's Golfer of the Week honors for March 14-20.
The Hartford, City, Ind., native had three of his four rounds in the 70s for the week.
He shot 76-76 to place 12th of 96 golfers at the Point Skyhawk Invitational. He shot an 82 to place fourth at the Alice Lloyd quadrangular.
Crist finished up the week with a 78 at the Shawnee State Invitational to place fifth and earn all-tournament honors.
IU East returns to action April 1-2 at the St. Francis (Ind.) Spring Invitational.
