KIAC Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week: Clint Swanson (IU East)
FLORENCE, Ky. -- IU East's Clint Swanson placed first in the 400 meters and also in two relays to earn the KIAC Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week award for March 21-27.
A junior from Vevay, Ind., Swanson won the 400 meters with a time of 50.50 seconds for an individual victory at the Anderson Easter Invitational. He also ran the anchor led of the 4x100 relay and the 4x400 relay for two more victories.
The 400-meter relay team had a time of 43.37 seconds, and the 1600-meter relay team posted a time of 3;30.47.
