KIAC Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week: Carrie Corriell (Rio Grande)
FLORENCE, Ky -- University of Rio Grande thrower Carrie Corriell placed at the All-Ohio Championships in two throwing events to earn KIAC Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week honors for April 4-10.
The senior from Lucasville, Ohio, was seventh in the discus at 41.56 and ninth in the hammer throw at 47.32. Rio Grande will compete next at the Ball State Invitational April 15-16.
