KIAC Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week: Alex Presley (Rio Grande)
FLORENCE, Ky. -- Alex Presley of the University of Rio Grande has once again won the KIAC Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week, this time for April 11-17.
The sophomore from Zanesville, Ohio, placed highly in the throwing events at the Ball State Challenge. He won the shot put at 17.03 meters and hit the NAIA B standard. He already met the NAIA A standard.
Presley was also fourth in the hammer throw at 44.80 meters and fourth in the discus at 47.37 meters. The meet included nine of the 11 partcipating teams from NCAA Division I.
