KIAC Women's Track Athlete of the Week: Olukemi Olugbakinro (Point Park)
FLORENCE, Ky. -- Point Park (Pa.) University's Olukemi Olugbakinro is the KIAC Women's Track Athlete of the Week for April 11-17 after her performance at the Westminster Invitational.
The Staten Island, N.Y., native ran the lead-off leg of the Pioneers' 4x400 relay team that placed first at 4:03.69 to smash a school record by 12 seconds and advance the best time in the KIAC for the event this year.
She also set a school record in the 400 meters at 1:01.91, and ran the 200 meters in 26.84 seconds.
