KIAC Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week: Andre Lowery (Point Park)
FLORENCE, Ky. -- Andre Lowery of Point Park (Pa.) University placed in two jumping events at the NCAA Division II Slippery Rock University Open to garner KIAC Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week honors for April 18-24.
The freshman from Shaker Heights, Ohio, was sixth in the long jump with a leap of 6.51 meters, a school record. He was eighth in the triple jump at 12.20 meters, which placed third on the Point Park team.
Lowery looks ahead to the KIAC Championship Meet this Saturday, April 30 at Rio Grande.
