FLORENCE, Ky. -- Point Park (Pa.) University first baseman Kim Corcoran hit .476 in six games last week to pick up KIAC Softball Player of the Week accolades from April 18-24.

A native of Cheswick, Pa., Corcoran was 10 for 21 and hit safely in all six games as Point Park went 5-1 overall, 4-0 KIAC. she tallied six runs, three doubles, a homer and three RBIs.

That led Point Park to two victories over IU Southeast and two wins over Brescia (Ky.) to close out the regular season and secure third place in the KIAC. She also had four hits in a doubleheader versus NCAA Division II Gannon.

The Pioneers (21-17, 14-4 KIAC) will be the No. 3 seed in the KIAC Softball Tournament this weekend, April 29-30 at Owensboro, Ky., taking a 10-game KIAC win streak into the postseason.
