KIAC Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week: Carrie Corriell (Rio Grande)
FLORENCE, Ky. -- University of Rio Grande thrower Carrie Corriell is the KIAC Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week for the fourth time this season after winning the award again for April 18-25.
The most-recent honor for the senior from Lucasville, Ohio, comes after placing first in the discus and hammer throw at the Wilmington College Night Moves Invitational.
She threw 40.16 meters in the discus and 43.71 in the hammer throw to maintain her KIAC lead in the throws. Next up is the KIAC Championship Meet this Saturday, April 30 at Rio Grande.
